Which Baby Breathing Monitor Is Best?

Hi
I have a 4month old baby who was 9 weeks premature. The problem is I can’t relax and will wake up around 30times to check she is still breathing. I have decided to buy a breathing monitor and would like some advice on which one people reccomend
Thanks
Becky

We have the AngelCare monitor, it has a pressure pad which goes under the matress and detects if there’s no movement (including breathing) for more then 20 seconds and it sets off an alarm, it’s also got the usual sound monitor as well. We have used it for both of our babies so far and will use it with this one too. They have a slightly updated version now which has a digital display.

I’m with KIRSTY B. Although I haven’t used it yet I have heard the Angel Care monitor and sensor mat is really good. I have one on lay by and will be using it this time around. I have a 2 year old daughter and used a normal sound monitor, but only for a few weeks as it was picking up other people in their houses. I was up and down every 1/2 hour checking on her. Didn’t get much sleep. Even now I’m still up nearly every hour checking her, lol. So hopefully this time I won’t be. Although my partner seems to think I still will be,lol.

I have a tommee tippee one. It has the mat that goes beneath the mattress. Also has a night light on the monitor. Can be used with or without the mat turned on so will grow with child when you no longer need the mat bit. I brought mine from my local boots shop.
My brother had the angelcare monitor for his daughter and says that was really good as well

i can’t remember the name brand but it is sold at k-mart and it is about 120 dollars but it is a camera and you can watch and hear the baby at all times and the reciever catches a good distance. i still didn’t stop me from always waking up but i was able to see the baby from my room and i could go back to sleep after i saw her with out getting out of the bed.
