The ones from the store? No I don’t recommend them. They even say on the packaging to use them during your third trimester, but I never heard anything, even when my baby’s back or chest was right there at it.

I never had any luck with the heartbeat things. At seven weeks, without professional equipment you probably wont hear the heartbeat anyways.
I didnt get to hear the heartbeat with my pregnancy until about 12 weeks..it just wasnt loud enough.
Wait another week and go to clinic. :)
Later on in your pregnancy (say 15+ weeks) go ahead and get the monitor. Its much easier to hear the heartbeat of a baby you can feel, where it is inside you. (To place the monitor)

I use to worry also trust me I know that feeling. Everytime I had an appointment my heart stopped because I was so worried they wouldn’t find it..plus my guy moved so much sometimes they couldn’t!
I never got one though I suffered through it. if you are that worried maybe ask if you can come in half way between your appointments just to hear it and leave? They should be ok since it only takes a minute. Or see if a local health department will let you come in

Hi , i wouldnt worry to much about getting one because if u dont hear anything then u will worry more . i was in excactly the same boat coz i have lost 3 and now am 28 weeks. if you want one i would wait till 12 weeks or jus let nature take its course. hope this helps . u can always ask advice from docs. good luck .

  5. The only heart beat monitors are for the last trimester. I bought the prenatal heart listener and I’m 28wks and I still can’t hear the heart beat. Your just going to have to trust your body and that the baby is going ok. I didn’t hear the heart beat until my 1st u/s which was after 8wks

on the heartbeat monitors they say that they are best used in your last trimester. I know it seems so far away when you are 7 weeks pregnant, I was the same way. Has your dr not let you hear it yet?

The heartbeat can’t be heard with a doppler until about 10-12weeks. And even then it depends on your size. It’s normal to worry, but a doppler will just drive you nuts.
