Does and elevated heart rate indicate pregnancy?

In my first pregnancy (which resulted in a miscarriage) I worked out a lot and I had noticed that my heart rate would be in the 100’s before I even got started. I already knew I was pregnant and figured my heart rate was high because of the baby. My husband and I have started trying again, and when I go into the gym my heart rate monitor is telling me that my heart rate is in the 100’s. That’s before I even start. It’s too early to take a pregnancy test, but does anyone think that’s a good indication of pregnancy?

Elevated HR is NOT an indication of pregnacy. You need to have this evaluated by a physician. An elevated heart rate my be nothing, may be stress related, or can be serious. Please follow up with your MD.

Um…could be. But alot of people, especailly after a baby, will always have increased heart rate. Im not pregnant and my heart rate is high all the time!

If you want to be pregnant be careful elevated heart rate may indicate pregnancy. However, if you really want to know the cause then have a pregnancy blood test. It will be 100 % right.

I would really check with your OB doctor. My OB doctor said that I should not exercise where my heart rate would get to a 100.
