My 3 year-old son tosses and turns during the night. Is this something I should worry abut?
I wasn’t really aware of what he does at night, because I never see him sleeping. But I can hear a lot of movement through the baby monitor. I don’t hear any breathing problems or snoring. When he is at my mom’s or mother-in-laws he sleeps in their bed and they say he moves, turns, kicks, and thrashes about all night. He does this while he’s sleeping. My mom says she doesn’t even know how he could get a good nights sleep, she watches him most of the night because she can’t sleep much. She said she had to wake him up once to calm him down because he looked so worked up. He seems rested in the morning, and sleeps at least 9 or 10 hours. What do you think? Should I consult a doctor? Or you think this is normal for an active 3 year old boy?
