Don’t pull or rub this area. I would use a gentle eye make-up remover (Clarins is good) and apply with cotton wall pads and let soak on the eyes so that it will just sweep off. You don’t need a eye cream yet, but make sure you wear a high SPF (you can buy SPF for just the eye contour now). When you do use creams don’t apply too close to the eyes this can eventually collect as fat deposits under the eyes causing bags and leading to cosmetic surgery later on in life.

You are treating that delicate area well, except for toilet paper… I would use the cloths that you already use or cotton balls.

You need to make sure you always wear sunglasses, sunscreen and always moisturize.

When applying any creams to your under eye area, always pat or dab stuff on. Do not pull the skin to apply eye liner either.

don’t use baby oil near ur eyes and the less pulling the better on the eye area…….make sure u r toning, cleansing and moisturizing….lots of places that care make-up willgive u advice on cleansing and wrinkle prevention

Funny you should ask-I’m suffering a swelling of my eyelids on my right eye. I suspect some kind of imune system slowdown. Weather here has kept me home bound. My house-keeping has been very lax during this time. I believe that my choices of late has brought me subject to this type of malady. The lesson is that many things can influence your eyes at this time of year and thru the comming seasons. Viral infections can have a quick effect and need quick help to overcome. Sterile wash-cloths and pure aloe-vera is the way to health.
